Sometimes it seems like whatever you can't eat is almost impossible to give up. Many diets require that dieters give up sugar and sweet snacks to lose weight. While this is actually a very good idea, especially for those who are diabetic, sugar can be one of the hardest things in the world to give up – or at least it sure can seem like it.
The next time you are in the grocery store, take a deep breath, grab the cart handle tightly, and head down the ice cream aisle. This isn't torture; it's a means to an end. There are a lot of really yummy sweet treats on the market now that diabetics and dieters alike can enjoy. Look for low sugar, low fat ice cream bars and other options. Skinny Cow, Weight Watchers, and Absolutely Free are three brands that offer a lot of diet friendly desserts.
